Final Year Student Virtual Art Exhibition by Fine Art Department, Faculty of Art and Design UiTM Shah Alam
Since the Covid-19 pandemic happened, students have struggled to attend classes. The academic system as a whole has changed drastically where learning methods have completely changed to virtual classrooms.
University students especially art students who naturally need studios and workshops to meet their learning and teaching needs. Normally, UiTM Shah Alam Fine Arts students will be provided with studios and private spaces on campus to complete their final Bachelor Degree's project and then exhibit their final year artworks through the Degree Show.
The Covid-19 pandemic this time was not a constraint for them to continue the tradition of this Degree Show by conducting a virtual final exhibition entitled Astaka I Ateliar which is officiated by Prof. Ts. Dr. Ruslan Abdul Rahim, the Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design on 23rd March 2021 on Facebook Live, Fine Art UiTM, @hofa.ad228. This exhibition features the artworks from 88 Fine Arts students from five Major which are Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Ceramic and Time Base Media.
